Description
The growers of this wine are Doug and Delwyn Bell. Doug’s pride and joy is his newly restored and running Allison supercharged V12 engine out of a WW2 Curtis Kittyhawk aircraft. This wine is named in Doug and Allison’s honour (we aren’t sure what Delwyn thinks about this). We believe it to be the first varietal Marsanne to be made in New Zealand. Marsanne hails from the Rhone Valley in France and loved the warm and dry conditions that typified vintage 2014 in Gisborne. Vinification and elevage was entirely in tank.
