Recently named one of the James Halliday’s ‘Dark Horse’ wineries, Rocland is a producer everyone should be keeping close eye on. The Duck Duck Goose Shiraz has lovely fragrant red fruit notes with black cherry and floral characters. While full-bodied, just the perfect weight to be matched with a wide variety of foods. Duck Duck Goose Shiraz – South Australia Shiraz | Duck Duck Goose New Zealand | AUS Shiraz

Opaque black dark purple colour with a dark purple red hue. Lifted liquorice and ripe blackberry aromas are followed by some dark chocolate, vanillin oak and spice. Rich and plushly textured the palate possesses dark chocolate and liquorice flavours with a strong vanillin oak overlay that is a little too prominent and persists right through to the finish with some spice also present. Soft acidity. Velvet smooth tannins with an aftertaste of vanillin oak, dark chocolate, liquorice and spice.
