AWARDS: 90 Points & 4 .5 Stars – Wine Orbit

Beautifully fruited and elegantly expressed, the bouquet shows white flesh nectarine, fresh pear, apple and floral characters, leading to a nicely rounded palate that is juicy and bright. The wine offers youthful charm and immediate appeal, finishing refreshing and lingering.

“Nice bouquet with aromas of ripe spicy white fleshed fruits, honeysuckle and blossom. On the palate – fleshy, juicy, gentle creamy textures, light white spice moments and just dry on the finish. Balanced and well made in a drink now style. Enjoyable from today and through 2021.” Cam Douglas MS, April 2020.

The Snapper Rock Pinot Gris is subtly rich and refreshingly dry with great concentration. With attractive aromas of apricot, the palate has a rounded core with flavours of ripe yellow stone fruits entwined with delicate notes of tropical fruits and exotic florals.

A warm summer allowed the grapes to ripen perfectly and the cool Marlborough nights harnessed the acidity to give definition to the wine. Harvested in the early hours of the morning to preserve fruit purity.

The grapes were slowly and gently pressed. After a cool, long fermentation the wine was aged on lees for 6 weeks to allow the natural weight of the wine to develop.
