Dark cherry in color with a lovely brightness to the wine. Quite fruit forward with upfront cherry and blackberry notes followed by a bed of spicey oak. Its deceivingly full on the palate with the mouthfilling influence of the oak really showing through. Like many wines of the vintage, this is naturally an elegant wine it has slightly lower alc than historically giving a more balanced finish.
